Congratulations to Nelly's Furniture, Corporate League Champions for the Winter 2008 season. They defeated PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the finals.

The new Intermediate League Champions for Winter 2008 is Deutsche Bank.
They defeated Curtis Brown in the finals.

  The new Fall Season for 2008 kicks off September 15, 2008.

Season:
The season includes a minimum of 6 matches. Each match is played for 2 hours on 2 courts. Tennis balls are provided. The season concludes with an awards party and includes trophies,
t-shirts and networking opportunities as well. Teaching clinics and "Happy Hour" parties in Manhattan are also included for a small additional cost per person.

Team:
Each team requires a minimum of four players, 2 women and 2 men to play an entire match, but you can carry as many players as you like.

Play Format:
Each match consists of 6 "no-ad" 8 game sets:
- 1 women singles
- 1 men singles
- 1 women doubles
- 1 men doubles
- 2 mixed doubles
The total games won for each of the six sets are recorded and totaled at the end of the evening. Game totals are cumulative throughout the season, with a playoff between the two teams with the highest overall game totals at the season's end. Coaching and player substitutions are permitted during the match, and allows for more players to get involved and creates a fun atmosphere!

Subway: #7 Flushing Line to Vernon-Jackson Ave. Walk 2 blocks toward NYC skyline.
Car: Queensboro bridge to East River, continue on Vernon to end, turn right
on Borden Ave, club is at the end of the road.
Midtown Tunnel: make immediate right out of the toll booths (u-turn) onto
Borden Avenue and stay straight to the end.

Tennisport has a bar / restaurant which is open to all teams.

To Enter:
The fee is $1,800.00 per team for the season.
